I recently came across photographer Johnny Milano’s new live music shots and was really intrigued by the light, colors, and emotions he captured at two recent shows. I asked him to write a little something about the Crime in Stereo cover show seen below.

The group of these shots were from the recent Crime In Stereo’s cover show over in West Babylon at the Bergen Point Country Club. There’s no other to describe how well this show went besides speechless. It was a show in which Crime in Stereo played cover songs of all that bands that had influenced them over the years. And from bands like Indecision, Lifetime, Tripface, Gorilla Biscuits, Kill Your Idols, Get Up Kids, Jawbreaker, Avail and Silent Majority it was such a rad show! The results of this show came out, in my opinion, really well and I’m so incredibly stoked on these shots. Specifically one of them, the one where Christian is pointing opposite the crowd (to Tommy Corrigan), laughing while everyone around him is singing along. To be honest, this is one of my favorite band shots I’ve taken. It describes perfectly how the night went and it was just awesome. I think it’s safe to say that every kid had the biggest smile after seeing Tommy Corrigan mosh for Milhouse and singing Polar Bear Club.
